I am a former social worker with a decade of experience
in keeping people safe and supporting their well-being whilst respecting diversity. I have a current and enhanced DBS, am fully insured with excellent references, a clean driving licence since 1987 and great sense of humour!
I am an artist and a carer. The creative caring service I offer in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Dorset includes:
- An (optional) thorough assessment of/chat about what makes you happy, brings you joy and keeps you well. The things you might miss, find exciting and fun. Then planning together to make them happen. £25 initial visit and planning.
- Safe and comfortable transportation/support to visit local beauty spots in Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole Dorset, shops, the beach, the forest, charity shops, food shopping, social groups, picnics, museums, exhibitions, garden centres, cafes, markets, vintage shops, boat trips, adult education classes, anywhere you want to get about to and may need help getting there to live a more full and social life.
- Practical ordinary help with cooking, baking, shopping, cleaning, decorating, organising, clearing rooms, errands.
- Warm, trustworthy and friendly person with great energy, sense of fun, enthusiasm, imagination and warmth at your disposal to support you improving your life.
- Affordable hourly rate £15 (plus mileage 40p per mile).
- Minimum visits of 2 hours (monthly, fortnightly, weekly or daily)
- One off support to special occasions, places, people.
- Availability weekdays, evenings and weekends. Regular hours or one off visits
- Excellent and reliable communication with family members (if reqd.)
